CCC member and PhD Candidate Mr Leo Brown won the Moynihan Prize at this years Association of Surgeons (GB and I) at the International Surgical Conference in Belfast in May. The Moynihan Prize, instituted in 1951, is awarded to the author of the best short paper on new work read at the annual International Surgical Congress. Leo's work on the Cachexia index demonstrated that it can be used to predict outcomes in both curable and incurable OG cancers.
